The United Arab Emirates Prime Minister gives two Ferraris to the King

The King of Spain was last December in United Arab Emirates, specifically was there to witness the penultimate Yas Marina Formula 1 Grand Prix last season.

We all know that this theme park, Ferrari World, next to own the Yas Marina circuit. Well, it seems, Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, Prime Minister of the UAE, Don Juan Carlos gave late last year two Ferrari valued at 500,000 euros in total.

I say apparently, because there are some issues that are not entirely clear in this story. Let me explain. On the one hand, officials of the King’s House have confirmed that Juan Carlos has accepted two Ferrari cars UAE, while also ensuring that it was not alone in receiving this gift (it is understood that other personalities invited to the Grand Prix for the United Arab Emirates and the theme park also been received).

This source has said that the two vehicles were integrated into the National Trust property, which as many know, is a public institution that manages and custody of state-owned property that only members can enjoy the Royal Family.

On the other hand, there are sources of national heritage to ensure that there is no evidence of the acceptance of gifts by the King’s house, nor of the possession, by this institution, the two vehicles.

This information is consistent in principle with the theory provided by the Confidential, which suggests that the vehicles were collected from Barajas Airport by the Directorate General of Heritage, the Ministry of Finance. At the moment this is all the information we have, if any new update this post as soon as we are aware of it.

Note: It is unknown Ferrari models that King would have received, the images are merely illustrative.
